My bet is that they are.

He is the only coach that can be seen as a direct challenge to Pep in a similar, entertaining style to what the United masses are demanding.

I think the fact that they tried and failed to recruit Pep increases the likelihood they will be working on Sarri, even despite Chelsea’s interest.

Hope he does, he'll be on huge wages with a bonkers payment for signing on fee + agent fee, he's well past it and we'll get to laugh while watching Seluk and Maureen bitchfight all season.

Almost as good as the video of the supporter being interviewed, after the their FA Cup loss, who says, with a straight face (with the United fan TV interviewer smirking, knowing how bitter it sounds): “I’ll take a trophy winning like that, then winning nothing a playing good. And anyone that say’s I’ll take a loss they’re a Man City fan. That’s what City think. City think a good season is beating United twice. And don’t win anything. I don’t think that—I want to win at all cost.”

A mate of mine that is often brought in to help finalise transfer dealings in the Premier League has just sent over this leaked promotional photo of the marquee player United soon plans to announce as their first summer signing. Not exactly sure where he is coming from but apparently he will be playing for his country in the WC.

We’ll supposedly be hearing a lot about him on RagCafe soon enough.
