The rags blame money on this seasons success and their lack of a challenge even though we’be Spent spent similar amounts. They thinks it’s just bad management that we bought better than they did. But why weren’t they in for the same players we were? Why didn’t the pull of playing for the mighty united snatch these players out of our grasp? Because the very top talent don’t really want to play for them or peg we’ve all seen his true colours too many times and so will the footballers first hand.
 
Claudio Ranieri and Antonio Conte beat us without spending as much...I guess this Mourinho fella just isn't up to much.

I agree. But where WOULD he go? Maybe he’ll go to Spurs when Pooch and Kane bolt for Real Madrid :). More likely he’ll hang ‘em up for a bit and see how 18-19 shakes out.

And who will replace Peggy at Utd?

He will hope santos retires after the world cup, he said he wanted to manage the national team one day and his club career is on the wane.

or he will stay at the rags and moan a lot.

The funniest part is at the end when he says "If the league is gone then why should we be arsed about dropping points today?"

Basically, he can't admit that we have just been too good for them this season so he'd rather take the cowardly way out and say "We didn't want to win the league anyway."

Ah well I guess the plucky underdogs made up of academy graduates and free transfers gave it a good go eh?

But its not just money its the travel -- Burnley didn't have to travel as far as Utd this Christmas period. The rags were knackered after that trek to and from Leicester.

The Glazers may be able to see this very clearly, but winning cups or titles mean sod all to them, the club is just a cash cow to be milked as much as possible. They have the PL money, great commercial income (this will eventually reduce if they stay crap for a long time but in the near future it is good), the only time the Glazers panic is when they are not in the champs league then they will spend anything to get it back as their commercial income depends on it. Only winning the CL would give them a boost beyond that they just need top four any other cup is an irelavance
