Isn't that a world record?

No mention of it. They were all over City playing a world pound record for a keeper.

Yes I had to read the first couple of paragraphs twice to understand the fee was £90mil including £15mil add ons...seems they didn't want to say it that way....for whatever reason


Either way it's laughable. Never forget the lazy **** in the pool derby, couldn't even be arsed to run on to a few hoofed balls ....

Don't see how they'll win the charity shield but then again it's the FA we're talking about.

I think that was his point.....unhappy if we made the same deal for a similar player....so the add ons would not be possible

So what happened to the 'expected improvement' from Rashford last season then? And why do you think it will be different this time around?

I think he's proved himself last season. Rashford I mean. He's been given the chance by Mourinho and he'll get enough games this year too. Martial needs to recover form and hopefully Pereira can step up to the mark this season. I expect your boys to blow many teams away with your world class firepower but can Guardiola get you playing at the required level consistently. Chelsea losing Costa and losing out on Lukaku could have a big effect on morale.
Like I say it's certainly looking interesting.

United supporter here, really looking forward to the new season. I assume both yourselves and possibly Chelsea will battle it out for winners at the business end but hopefully Mourinho can get us in the mix for most of the season.
If we add Perisic and possibly Fabinho and Rodriguez and see the expected improvement from youngsters Martial, Rashford amd Pereira then who knows. Could be very interesting.
