Saw it with my own mince pies on granada reports. Had a minutes silence and after theyd all forced a cry out at the end of it they all started shouting YERNITED YERNITED

City's mascots also wore the same plain 1950s style kit but the rags' mascots all wore the full AIG sponsored kits. The rags just can't help themselves.

We all remember that game, we were slaughtered in the press in the build up to it, that we would not show respect and yet we did brilliantly. Its true their mascots has the sponsor on the kits, they had it on the huge poster outside and during the minutes silence, ferguson just chewed gum throughout and after the game, he failed to show for the interview and the reason was he flew off somewhere immediately to scout a player or something

A fantastic summary of the day. Kitting their mascots out in full AIG sponsored kit while ours were in the special sponsor-less kit is an own goal of such epic proportions that hadn’t been emulated since way back when....errr, days earlier when the AIG logo ruined that huge memorial outside. And I wonder if Ferguson would’ve been in such a rush to catch that “flight” if they’d turned us over rather than the other way round. I think we all know the answer to that one.

Did we ever get to the bottom of who set those fireworks off outside the ground during the minute’s silence?

Yeah - chanting after a minute’s silence inside a stadium prior to a match is one thing but a bit odd to do it at a memorial service when there’s no match on.

I’ve not seen it myself so I can’t say for sure that it’s true, but apparently he was doing it for a young disabled kid in a wheelchair. That was taken from a comment on FB by some fella who claimed to be a blue and a bit of digging revealed he indeed was a City fan

Yes Pogba is a complete bellend but if this is true you’ve got to cut him some slack on this occasion
