That wouldn't surprise me at all. Although I don't think they've really strengthened that much Lukaku for Ibra and Matic for the older Carrick oh and Lindeloff they've not really improved imo.

Matic is a decent player and they needed a defensive midfielder. It moves Pogba further away from the defence which can only be a good thing. I'm surprised Mourinho was so eager to get him though after he was one of the biggest underperformers who got him the sack from Chelsea two seasons ago, looked an absolute pub player that season.

Sky gonna love it. Surely they'll play on us v them if we're both up there - 2 teams from the same county. Managers with previous battles. Both spent lots of money. Completely contrasting styles of football. Huge gulf in class. Ok maybe the last one doesn't quite fit the narrative.
