  1. Dunno who this one supports but he's bang on the money.......from ragcafe.

They are miles ahead of everyone else in the league at the moment in the terms of the players they have and the system they play. Guardiola has a team that is fully capable of playing his style of football and it’s going to take something special to stop them dominating the league for the next few years.

Mourinho struggled against him at Madrid and he’s going to struggle against him here. The next Manchester derby is going to be you lot spending 89 minutes trying to stop them playing and 1 minute trying to snatch a goal.

The biggest annoyance of mine is something that's not just in the media but prevent on this forum too.

It's this idea that they are title challengers. They're not. They're not even close. Chelsea are our title rivals.

United are the only team I've ever seen to finish 7th, 4th, 5th and 6th yet be spoken about as if they're somehow a challenger. Im fact evidence suggests theyre getting worse. They're literally living off a name and loads of people including City fans buy into it

I said they wouldn't finish top 4 and I'm convinced I'll be right. They're absolutely miles behind both us Chelsea and even Spurs.

I tend to agree with those who think the tactics will be to kick us over and over, and hope they get a lenient official. They will go right after Silva as everyone does but DeBruyne especially because once in a while he gets his dander up and retaliates.

Exactly, that's what poor Mark Hughes said, " we were getting back into the game and at 3-2 we were on the up, then obviously De Bruyne took umbrage at that and preceded to take us apart" good call that by Hughes, bang on the money ;-)

Bang on the money indeed, his analysis is what most knowledgeable football fans already see.

Is this not the rhetoric all the Rag press reel off, play for Utd get a England cap free. No wonder the players believe also!!

southgate should never pick him again after that. United don't have the best footballers in the league anymore, that attitude went on far longer than it should of. Personally while they're playing under peg and lumping long balls to a nose I wouldn't pick any of them :)

Chelsea, for me are most certainly our direct rivals, their traditional bad start has now developed into solid performances, and they possess the flair players to exploit this.
United are not of their quality, and can be summarily dismissed from any discussions about threats etc; the pattern of the last few years is exactly that, a pattern, so 5th would be a reasonable shout.

At risk of annoying you further, I am one of those who think they will challenge us, possibly even for the CL, this season.

It isn't that I think they are anything other than shit. In fact, I think they should apologise for the manifest insolence of comparing themselves to us.

However, I have observed them for 50 years and they are the luckiest bastards that ever inhabited this planet. It's not just the little things like Kane being missing when they play Spurs, such things are routine, It's monumental things like their Champions League win against Bayern Munich, or Terry's slip when they beat Chelsea or last year's run to the EL trophy which saved their bacon in terms of sponsorship. They are, as a romantic on here once posted, the turd that won't flush.

I hope I'm wrong and you are right. But 50 years of experience tells me never to write them off.
