Are we not getting a little blase about this whole derby thing.....everyone's thinking it's in the bag. Them fuckers are capable of winging it by 1, (they're not capable of scoring more) goal(s) irrespective of who plays the better foot (hoof) ball. On paper , yes, on past matches, yes, players on the pitch, yes, management, yes.....but against that lot.....MMmmmm. I'll be on pins that's for sure.

In all seriousness all we can do is take one game at a time and hope that the football we play is the winner.

Yesterday the rags were shit and could have dropped another 2 points, giving us a 10 point lead, as it turned out they got the win and at half time today things were looking ropey for us. If they had held on we could have been looking at a 5 point gap.

Pep needs to ensure that we are just taking it one game at a time.

The Red Cafe ‘how yo beat city’ thread. You’d have thought they were Huddersfield not a team with 2 80mil plus players in it and the ‘Special one’, second season and all that - some want Lukaku dropped!!

They should be more worried about beating Watford and Arsenal because if they don’t and we do the business this week then Burnley will be breathing down their necks

Tuesday night will be key, if they fail to win against Watford and we win at home to Soton the following night then the pressure on then to get a win at the Emerites will be huge, more so it will play into Arsenals hands, The last thing that Jose would want to do is to go all guns blazing away from home to a top 6 side. He will want to sit deep and keep the game tight hoping for a break. The advantage we have this week is that we get to see how the rags get on before we play.

Any chance of a link to this wise and knowledgeable thread?

That's key in my eyes, Arsenal have been very good on the counter this season and the shit can't defend without 8 minimum behind the ball.

just as a point of interest since the Premier league started the 2nd placed team have only ever accumulated more than 86 points twice, both times it was the rags.

If the repeats this year then all we need in theory is 50 points from 25 games, basically we could get away with 15 wins, 5 draws and 5 defeats, given how we have played this season i think that run would be seen disappointing for us.

Just read the how to beat city thread.
Many are saying man mark KDB to stop us.
What they haven't realised is that he is the wrong one they need to stop - if they, or anyone, are to beat us they would need to stop Silva.
Funnily enough, saw something on Facebook this week about who is the best player in the league. Few said, Salah, Hazard and Kane.
Most said KDB. City fans on there all said Silva.
