Going to tell my rag mates that I want them to win next week. Notwithstanding I obviously don't, it will seriously mess with their heads.

Even jokingly I could not bring myself to utter them words.

True story:

Occasionally, over the last few years, I have enjoyed patronising them with: "I hope ye can do us a favour against [insert team] ".
It does the job of trolling them but as I mentally store it away and never, ever examine the thought again, it allows me to rationalise that I haven't actually said I want them to win.
Makes no sense I know.

Schrödinger's Football Fan or something, that's me. :-)

They may have been away to Liverpool when Jose parked the bus last, but no excuses this weekend. At home to Spurs if he doesn't go for it and just sits back the fans there should be asking questions of him.

Not that any will, which is fine by me. But no one will ever win the league by parking the bus 10 times against their five biggest competitors. Not a chance in hell.

any mention of Huddersfield wage or squad cost compared to the scum???

c`mon it`s monday......if city got that result our highlights would be still on loop since the final whistle on saturday.
Not a dicky bird, but if they did decide to do a squad cost comparison they would probably use us,didn’t the bbc do this before when we weren’t even playing ..

If anyone is in need of a good laugh go and have a look on the CAF at their what would Guardiola do thread.

Their recollection of what happened since the start of last season is remarkable. You would think they came from the bottom of the league and didn't have a penny to spend.

Well worth a giggle.

Edit, i would say that there are a couple of very sensible posts in there mixed in amongst all the drivel, for example quite rightly pointing out we had one of the oldest squads in the league, our net spend has been very similar over this time and the season before they both came we finished level on points.

Was reading their "Title Race" thread. It's going to get funnier, as the season goes on.

In fairness they did on Sky this morning. Said that Lukaku nearly cost 3 times the Huddersfield side. They added the values of both starting xi's up.
I think the media are beginning to see the wood for the trees.

Not read too much of that thread but to be fair, plenty of their lot are fawning a fair bit over Pep on other threads. One post made me laugh on a Pep thread - a United fan was saying that the City posters were more grounded about him than Pep’s collection of non-City supporting fanboys who post on there.

Sky actually did. Cant remember details but i think they compared to cost of pogba which was more than the whole of the huddersfield team

It never ceases to amaze me that Pearce is held up as some sort of expert. He was a great player but as a manager he was one of the most tactically stupid we have ever had. Apart from Alan Ball, probably the worst we have had in our history. He is clueless.

Even Beanie thinks he's a clueless fucker.

but your theory in simple terms is not to 'take the piss' until the line has been crossed where it cant be reversed,,,i do find that very strange, football is all about banter, what would the atmosphere be like in grounds if there were no away fans to banter with
Back in the day it was a rare event to 'Sing the Blues'.
Hopefully we will be singing it more often now.
Once a week would be lovely!
