Presumably by asking him why he thinks the pisscan is relevant to the current situation?

Neville is very stupid, this tweet makes no sense whatsoever. I assume he doesn't like the "fact" that Sanchez wants to play for Pep at City, that the presence of Pep at City is his prime motivator, but this is not incomprehensible, it is blindingly obvious why the opportunity to play for Pep would be so appealing. Anyone who takes an interest in football knows all too well the things Pep can do for Sanchez as a player, even at the ripe old age of twenty nine. Everyone recognises the opportunities that will open up for him at City, the trophies, the titles, the great players that will play alongside him, these things are not in question. Everybody knows that this move is a golden opportunity for Sanchez and at his age it is the last chance he'll have to seize it. But none of these things apply at United.

If Sanchez ends up playing for United he'll be doing it for the money.

The fact that Mourinho is United's manager cuts no ice with Sanchez, the twenty times, Glory, Glory Man Utd mean jack shit to him. The swamp, the once mighty domain of the all conquering pisscan mean absolutely nothing, if Sanchez pulls on a red shirt he'll be doing it for the dosh, just like Zlatan and Pogba do and reading between the lines of that nonsensical tweet Neville knows this too and it hurts a lot.

It's killing them. Like Neville, they may be publically in denial and grasping at the straw of history but deep down they know it.
Neville's other tweet in that conversation where he finishes with the snide dog about them being "historically, the sightly bigger club" if f**king beautiful.
He'll be telling the world that they've got bigger floodlights before long. :-)

I would have thought his reference to it being disrespectful to City is that we are more than just Pep and that players are not going to choose us just because it's Pep.

A lot of players pull on shirts for dosh. We have had our share. Robinho/Adebayor.

What will be will be.

If united sign him though it once again smacks of desperation. No planning for the future. Just good player available sign him. Worry about how he will fit in later.

Because of the explosion of social media United can't hold any firm coherent media line, even if they could work out what that line is, they're fan base is flapping and the scum have no answer to it, all the usual levers don't work and promises of Ronaldo and Bale don't cut it anymore. Of course Utd still have well placed outriders and sycophants in the media and Scudamore still prays to the football gods every night for the return of his premium "brand" but they're a busted flush and they're having great difficulty hiding it from their trillions of followers, too many false dawns, too much talk and too little action and no prospect of a title win any time soon.

Even if they came to their senses tomorrow and put a plan in place to address their structural problems it would take them years to get where we are now.

They can have the past, they can hide it in for comfort, we'll have now and the foreseeable future and they can f**k themselves.

Went onto "The United Stand" YT to see what Robbie was saying about Sanchez in their live show, find them arguing against Goldbridge how Pep isn't a fraud, quite funny, "No open chequebook" :D
