They aren’t. They just happen to be in a title race with us. I hate FC United more than I hate Liverpool and we never have and probably never will play them.

It's a bit annoying, but other than that, today was the perfect scenario for us:
1) Spurs dropped points
2) United showed themselves to not really be that good after all, but...
3) The media can't see much beyond the scoreline, which increases the likelihood that OGS gets the job full-time, which is good because of point (2).

If they appoint him then they really have lost the plot. If he keeps winning though the dickheads who watch them will be clamouring for it! I really don’t want Pochetino going there as I think he would sort them out. I can see united coming 4th this season though. I don’t rate Chelsea.

Rags can get something from the Dippers game, hopefully they will.

De Gea was insanely good tonight. Shades of Neuer's performance in that UCL semi final all those years ago. Or Schmeichel against Newcastle in 96. Or Tim Howard's for the United States in 2014.

He single handily kept them from conceding.

That's clearly pro-Utd bollox though isn't it. Yes, they have done extremely well to get 6/6 wins and beating the Spuds isn't to be sniffed at, but it is mainly due to the new manager bounce as you say and OGS getting them to play to their potential.

Liverpool are the best side atm. The League doesn't lie. If Utd are to achieve anything, OGS needs to get them playing above and beyond themselves which I am not sure he will.

Asked one of great unwashed hoards what they were before the GPC took over. He didn't know the answer, so I told him, a good cup team & nothing more. He denied this so I asked him how many league titles they won before 1992, his answer? Erm, not sure, 8 or 9 probably.
When I let him know the answer, he wasn't too pleased, to the point of, "Yeah but we won them all with our own money"
