People are criticising the united players for downing tools, but maybe they had a point. The subsequent results support that contention, up to a point. Mourinho’s clearly full of poison. Maybe they feel they did what they had to do. Sometimes a mutiny can be justified, prevailing conventions notwithstanding.

I'd agree with that, nobody likes to work for a ****, and the special one seems to be on another level when it comes to ****yness.

Something definitely happened at Madrid, before that all his players seemed to love him even after things had gone south.He does. The players at Chelsea downed tools too. Yeah, I remember watching that footage of him interacting with his players, after he’d won the CL with Inter. His players truly adored him.Something definitely happened at Madrid, before that all his players seemed to love him even after things had gone south.
I think something did happen to him in Madrid; possibly not connected with football (which is notoriously leaky for gossip)

His father passed away around that time I think, which could quite easily have had a major impact on his personality/mood and ability to manage.
