United thread 2018/19

As I lived within walking distance of the Apollo I used to go to the Saturday morning matinee in the early 60s. Saw loads of great gigs there later such as the Clash, Ramones etc

Not the punks for me, rockers such as Rush, Rainbow, Sabbath, The Who etc. Lots of other stuff, John Martyn, Roy Harper (local lad and a blue of course)

I'll post this again here but slightly amended so that it doesn't get moved to the PL games thread.

United are shite. Their supporters know they are shite, that all their players are shite, the manager is shite and that the short, medium & long term outlook is shite.

Stop sitting on the fence.....[/QUOTE]

united fans have morphed from cocksure to flakey in under a decade.
Let me be clear on validating your comment. For the benefit of any blue who is not fully aware of the situation.

WE DID THIS!!!!!

US!!!!

CITY!!! MAN CITY!.....WE FUCKED THEM OVER BIG TIME!!!!

WE REDUCED THEM TO A HUSK OF THEIR FORMER STATURE!

Take a bow all involved!!

Did you hear Radcliffe and Maconie's show celebrating the 40th anniversary a couple of years ago?

It was great and Glen Matlock's version of Pretty Vacant was brilliant.

I didn’t unfortunately. I wasn’t a punk in style but I loved that era for gigs & excitement. Saw loads of bands courtesy of Tony Wilson / Granada / So It Goes. I was a regular at the Electric Circus & then The Factory.
