Before they start a match day thread I just wanted to wish them luck for the weekend, hopefully they can keep it down to a 2-0 loss.

I think the opposite. They look happier than under Mourinho but even that is turning.
They look flat & clueless tactically to me. Just waiting for something to happen.

Reminds me of how their annual CL exit was our only joy as city fans in the mid 90's. Good luck to them if that's where they want to be, but it's a dark place.

As @Didsbury Dave once wisely said: being shit, is shit! Too true. You endure it as a supporter because that’s what you do, but it’s a fucking chore at times.

They are falling to pieces imo. It’s incredible what a badly run club they are. Until that changes, they are destined to falter.

I can’t believe there aren’t more vocal protests against the Glazers. They are utterly fucking clueless.

It’s a long way from London to stand on the picket line, I can’t see the day trippers who go on the museum tour and go in the club shop taking up the slack. They have to be on a coach for a tour around the Lake District and Edinburgh after that.

It's strange that United fans seem to be accepting what is happening to them. It's almost as if they have given up. The local ones I know have given up watching them live but they have been replaced by a younger generation. The younger ones seem to have been manipulated by the media. Some of them seem to actually believe that Pogba is a world class player for example. Only a few week's ago most so-called pundits were saying they had a good squad being poorly managed. Any one who actually attends live matches can see that this is absurd. Even their goalkeeper (the best in the world!) can't pass the ball accurately.

All valid points, but those factors didn’t stop the Green and Gold campaign, or the pretty vociferous protests before the Glazer takeover. People’s cars were getting vandalised, so it was pretty tasty. It even gave rise to a new club ffs!

The green and gold campaign was driven by the scarf sellers on Warwick road and nothing else, it achieved its goal by letting Alf from Gorse Hill retire early from his sales.
