All this shit about 'the United way' and their fucking DNA makes me both laugh and angry at the same time. There's an article in The Guardian saying 'United must live up to their past' (https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2019/apr/22/solskjaer-easter-manchester-united),
Their "DNA" was Baconface. He was the heart and soul of the club who controlled all aspects of the football side. He wasn't parachuted in to a club that had some sort of magic formula for success. He had to build that himself but he didn't leave anything behind but his history of success. No structure or formula for his successor. Just a group of players who he somehow got to overachieve, under owners who weren't as committed to achieving the top prizes as he was. They've tried throwing money at the problem and that hasn't worked. They got managers who were proven winners but that had no impact. So their latest trick is to get someone in who "knows the club and the United way" but the guy they've got in has a pretty undistiguished manager who probably doesn't have it in him to even keep them up there, let alone move them forward. He'll be gone by the end of next season and then what's their next trick?
They need to forget their past and think hard about their future. Let's hope they don't.
Its actually just reality hitting home and they have no idea what is happening
