There's at least 4 teams much better than united, and a couple of other teams around them that will be pushing for sixth and dreaming of fourth.

I've got no idea what this "united way" is, but if it just means pushing for the title, they'd be better lowering their expectations and hoping to get in the Champion's League first and slowly building from there. Maybe a decent cup run too but there's so many that are still that arrogant that they think they should be top four, minimum, simply because they're 'Man united'.

The success they've enjoyed over the past couple of decades has come from the single minded approach from the Piss can.
His sole purpose was to knock Liverpool off their perch. It was that objective that drove his obsession and enabled him to bully his way from title winning season to season.

The rags were never a spectacular outfit, in fact they won more than one of their titles with a shit load of 1-0 wins over the course of the season.

The footballing fraternity were shit scared of Slur Alex so that helped them out.
