This is not a new phenomenon, it's happened for years.

Lingard is 26 soon, he's not scored since February, and let's not be too dismissive of United they did actually finish 2nd last season.
He got loads of game time.

Lingard is a very average footballer, Watford/Palace levels at best.

I bet you can't even say what his position is, that's not a dig because he doesn't actually have one. He's a rank average 'Jack of all trades, master of non".

He's 18 months ahead of where Bernardo is currently & at the same stage of his career as De Bruyne was at the start of last season.
Just think about that, he's nearly two full football seasons more 'developed' than Bernardo.

It’s non stop. Be it Jose, 29 years, player unrest, ZZ....
It’s been non stop slating of them which is exactly what they deserve.
 
So what the outcome then....they sack jose. Get Zidane in which seems likely as he is brushing up his english patter. The team start playing better as it is the ‘honeymoon’ period.....and then after that disintegrates they revert back to current form as they just are not that good and the players at their disposal are mid level at best

To be honest, if I could actually get my words out in his presence (after offering to buy him a pint), it wouldn't be be my conversation starter but if we were actually discussing numerous footballing topics and it came up, I would have absolutely no problem disagreeing with Pep on the talents of Jesse Lingard..........

I think Valencia have only won one all season, but I too can see a win tonight for them (Valencia)
I can’t call Newcastle. In my predictions I’ll go with a united win because, well, the barcodes are shit aren’t they. It wouldn’t surprise me if united lost though, given their current demise.

Newcastle do seem tight and organised at the back (not seen the Leicester game) so perhaps it'll end up a very dour 0-0 which would be nice and not help either side.
