I have a friend who works in Manc pubs and as the man has just appeared, I think this is the correct thread to say that Nolan has ditched Chelsea, and is now, once again, a Rag fan.

Not that I'm backing a Rag, but he has played a lot of games as sub, and quite a few where he's out wide. I personally think he's another massively (!) overrated Rag, and will be at Everton, or West Ham in a year or so.

Haha - I'll have to let Paul know, he will piss his sides at that suggestion (the claim he's back to supporting United - he ditched them in the 70s).

He supported Leeds when they were fighting it out with United.

He supported Arsenal when they were fighting it out with United.

He's supports Chelsea and has done for about 15 years now.

What he can't do though, is support City, because then he would have to admit I have been right for 30 years of me telling him our day would come.

He's a massive piss taker as well as piss head, so loves winding people up.

My particular favourite, being with him in Flannels years ago when he marched up to McManaman and told him to stop taking the piss out of City and that he was a disgrace, which saw both being dragged apart.

As those who know me will attest my uncle used to play for this shower of turgid sheet and stilll has loads of Co facts with the club. He says morale never been worse, the dressing room is a morgue and word is they’re one more embarrassing loss away from Maureen being kicked out. Seems Zidane conversations are quite well developed
