Are you aware of the concept of playing really badly against weak opposition but still leading 1-0 against the run of play (before getting a dodgy penalty to double the lead)

Of course, although I have never in the history of the game seen a team win 3-0 whilst getting dicked.

Wolves did well against us in August and looked pretty lively last week against Burnley, they could give the rags some problems at home if their front men bring their shooting boots.

It did flatter them of course, they didn't play great and I have never said otherwise. My point was describing a team who won 3-0 as "getting dicked" is a bit much really, along with belittling Pogbas finish. Seemingly though everyone here is in agreement you can win 3-0 and get dicked at the same time. They weren't great to watch and against a better team they would have been punished.

I think I can remember a game when we first came to the new stadium where Southampton beat us 0-3 or 1-3 and we battered them. Sure other people must remember other occasions

I saw a game where the away team crossed the half way line once in 90 mins. Twice if you count kick off and win without scoring.

There may be occasions a team wins that don't deserve to win. United were the better team and rightly won midweek. They were far from impressive but they got the job done. To say they got dicked is laughable. At best you can say it was fairly even, the stats pointing that way. One team scored 3, the other failed to score. The team with 3 got dicked though. Battered all over the pitch apparently.

I used the example before and it was ignored but we all find it hilarious when Fergie claims they were the better team in the 6-1. How could they be better if they lost 6-1 is the reply, seemingly that can happen if the same logic applies.

Theres a few I can recall, Bolton at home when Dunne gave away a pen and we lost 1-0 after hitting the woodwork 100 times. That Boro game we lost 1-0 where they didn't have a shot and a West Brom game I think we drew 1-1 Dunne OG which i think they didn't shoot in either. It can happen, what doesn't happen is a team winning 3-0 who got dicked.

I must confess I find it weird that you’re so quick to hate sterling and yet so eager to defend Pogba.

Yeah, I find that very strange too.

He was also vigorously defending the alpaca a couple of weeks ago.
