End of September and they are 8 points off the top. This is a club that finished 19 points off the top last year, worrying times for us as it the way it is going Jose could be on thin ice. Despite the good start in the champions league it still has the potential to blow up in their faces.

Will he make it through to May? Depends how far away they are from champions league qualification.

also need to remember they had a relatively easy start
One top 6 side at home that they normally beat
They struggle to get any momentum so they have no chance
I’d say they will be 4th ahead of spurs but can’t see em any higher
5th with europa next year for new manager would be nice and stop the big names wanting to go

Just need them to beat dippers twice
God knows how though

Arsenal could be a shout for 4th, they had a difficult start but Emery looks like he is starting to implement what he wants to happen.

If that’s happens Zidane is going to have an interesting first season trying to overhaul the last 3 managers mistakes on squad building whilst having to play Thursday nights.

As for Arsenal I’m glad we played them first before they get it together
They will get a lot better
Similar to wolves

Wolves should have won yesterday, better finishing and decision making they would have. If they can keep that team together and add to it they will be a challenge to the top six in the coming few years.

I just watched this mornings re-run and was expecting to see an assist from Pogbad something on the likes of Merlins at the swamp in the 6-1, the female reporter on final score last night was drooling saying it's a must watch, assist off the season my arse....

I watched the MotD highlights and to me the rags are a team in total disarray. No leadership, no creativity, no discernible plan A, let alone a plan B. They truly are a shambles, both on and off the pitch.

Every game so far this season they have scraped through. Each one their opponents could and should have got a share of the points - Wolves could have sewn up the game yesterday with the chances they made for themselves. Once again their 'keeper saves them from a mauling.
Spurs should easily have drawn against them, same as Watford.

Not once so far this season have the rags shown they are demonstrably better than any other team in the league. Not once have they stamped their authority on a game by playing their opponents off the pitch. Not a single win or draw has been received by them or their fans as: "Well done. We played extremely well and got our just reward". No, they've just trudged off the pitch with an air of: "Fuck me. We rode our luck today".
