It has been mentioned several times over the years, most significantly by Garry Cook, that many of the great players that have been at City only came because Yaya was already here.

His behaviour and comments in recent years should never detract from what a great influence Yaya Touré was in the rise and rise of Manchester City.

It’s not, you’re going very off subject from his reasons for him coming to his contribution. Not linked in the slightest. Many players might have come for Yaya, Yaya came for the money
