He’d be a brave man to take it the jobs a poisoned chalice,although large sums of money may persuade foolish enough managers to take it,they need a massive overhaul of their squad as well good luck to whoever comes in after the gouger they’ll certainly need it ...

Not necessarily. The problem within the squad is Pogba. I imagine the next manger hired will be someone Pogba can get on with. From what I read he has a big influence within the dressing room so who better to get to get him onside than Zidane? They share a similar backstory (African descent, French raised) Zidane was a midfielder just like Pogba, and Zidane has had incredible success both as a player and manager.

Pogba is important to united beyond the playing field. He is their star. I am sure United would feel better keeping him and his popularity than selling him to a rival club. The next manager at united will HAVE to get along with Pogba. In my opinion nobody fits that bill better than Zidane.
