Reap what you sow.

Said it upon each appointment as did nearly every blue: when Pep leaves City we will be placed to carry on his legacy. Mourinho will leave the rags in tatters.

United fans were in denial about it. After that initial season they celebrated the tin pot treble and got a wee bit giddy and ahead of themselves.

Funny just how far we have surpassed them and the only people who couldn't see it coming were sticking their head in the sand.

Sometimes the fat oaf talks sense....

“People died for this club...” what a preposterous statement that is. As though they knew they were at risk of death going to play in a football match but decided to go anyway. Then he tops it off with “this club is not about making money..” Classic examples of the kind of nonsense spouted to keep the myth of superiority alive.

How can they say things like that with a straight face.

If the Glazers could be so candid, I'm sure they would say that's EXACTLY what it's about.

So if they do sack Mourinho off, I'm really not convinced Zidane would want to go there. Who would they turn to, Conte? Blanc?
No one is going to deliver instant success which is what they're craving for and demand.

There are no real choices unless they want to prise Poch from Spurs - which will piss them off.

Zidane has absolutely no experience of the English Premier league, nor has he any experience of building a team from the ashes he will inherit. Quite literally anyone taking over will need three years at least to clear out and disinfect the dressing room and bring in a new squad of players and that is exactly what is required there.

The biggest problem any replacement will have will be the fact the Board will refuse to accept the situation and demand instant success.... bring in the popcorn!

If they do get fined, the formula for working it out should be simple. We were fined €30000 for being 1 minute late onto the pitch back in 2012. So as a minimum, 5 minutes should be €150000 + inflation.

It won’t happen though.
