Would have preferred them to lose, but seeing them get all giddy and think they’ve turned a corner is hilarious. Conceding 2 and scraping a home win against second bottom is not turning a corner.

Put a fiver on 3-2 at half time too. Hate it when teams sit back against them and knew the barcodes would 2nd half. If you attack them they crumble. Could have been a cricket score if they’d have carried on playing.

Jose for life!

The whole Newcastle game from the start of the BT coverage seemed almost scripted, from some strange comments from the BT commentary through to the way the game panned out. Rafas tactics in the second half were naive for such an experienced manager , the whole we were shite now we are great in the second half from the scum , Alty Taylor did his bit in a very subtle way, BT got a shock first half score but seemed to know it would all be ok in the end , it all just seemed organised . I know how that all sounds and I have put the tin foil hat on and will be switching off all my electronic equipment so the feds can't find me, but it just didn't feel right even down to Richard Scudamore whispering in Edward Woodward's ear only thing he didn't do was put a reassuring pat on his shoulder !

You'd think they'd won the universe the way the media is going on this morning.

Why is Taylor from Wythenshaw allowed to ref City or Utd? I thought refs couldn’t ref teams where they live? Blatant pen at 0-2.

Weird sensations in football you should never have, checked the score and saw Newcastle were winning and my heart sunk. Keep hanging in their Jose every day he stays there is another day delaying when someone else could come in and get it right.

They won’t get top four, spurs are starting to look like they will do what spurs do and consistently pick up points, let’s just hope the rag board keeps this slow car crash going until May.

The rags are supposed to be a compact defensive team under Jose, but a team like Newcastle who must be the most negative team in the league to watch can go there and convert two chances and should have had more.

Role on the Derby, the rags deserve a good roughing up after being very lucky at the the Etihad last time around.

They're irrelevant now mate, bigger fish to fry nowadays.

This isn't a turning point for them, the players stuck to the script for 70 minutes then instinct kicking in they forgot the plan and went for the win rather than the agreement to get Peg the sack before the international break, still not convinced he will see today out.
