United thread 2018/19

This is Sky spin for clicks. The article starts:

The FA may seek the advice of a lip reader and a linguistics expert as they continue to investigate Jose Mourinho's touchline comments, Sky Sports News understands.
Mourinho made a series of comments to camera as he headed towards the tunnel after Manchester United's 3-2 win over Newcastle on Saturday.
Some reports suggest his words included swearing in Portuguese.

So 'may seek', and 'some reports suggest'.
They've asked someone if they'll use a lipreader, and the spokesman will have said, 'if appropriate' or something, as he almost certainly didn't know.

We don't have to, but it gives us an advantage. If ever we needed a reality check about why we are called bitter it is this thread. United are completely irrelevant currently. They aren't going to get relegated and are going to plod on this season. Why not on this occasion not be fussed if they helped us along the way winning another title more comfortably?

Many in here are the kind to say "I support two football teams, City and whoever are playing Man United" When the reality is they hate United that much that is above any love they have for City
Stop talking bollocks Tom, you have no conceivable idea how these fans think, only that which suits your perception

Just been watching the Gillingham playoff game on Youtube. At the end a City fan interviewed outside Wembly says..' This is the beginning of everything. The phoenix in the flame. Them Reds are finished, we're rising, the year 2000...' Almost Churchillian in nature, well spoken sir, whoever that guy is, I hope he is still around to see this.
I also love that guy - years ahead of his time

No other explanation. I hate United, don't want them to win a throw in let alone a game. If they are playing a team that should they win benefits us then I'm all for it. I love City more than I hate United.

This shows how pathetic the FA really are.

They need to sort their priorities,as they would obviously sooner go after Mourinho,in an attempt to find a charge for an alleged 'offence' no one gives a shit about, rather than investigate/charge the likes of Mane for kicking out at an opposition player in a dangerous manner.
It's alright Fernandinho got his own retribution with a forearm to the neck on the man who is in denial about being bald in the second half.

Not sure why we have to quantify our hate or love and I couldn't give a monkeys if some clown thinks I'm bitter.

Personally I don't support whoever is playing Utd it may not give me any pleasure to see some teams win, but it always gives me pleasure to see Utd lose. The schadenfreude is purely from the loss not the other teams win even though one cannot exist without the other.
Personally I'm happy for other teams to take points of Liverpool it needn't be Utd.
