From what I'm told that's not true on Falcao, we told his agent no thanks. Still funny though.

What about DiMaria. Weren't we interested in him at the time too but he was too costly for us?

Went to a question and answer session at the Etihad, where bobby was getting a bit of stick about playing one up front.
His response was he would drive down the Mancunian way and take that banner down and btw he would play one up front.
Yes he got it and he kept his word.
What ever else he did I loved him for that.

Yet the banner came down after we beat Stoke at Wembley when he started with two up front (Mario and Tevez), and power-shift Sunday also saw us start with 2 up top (Mario and Sergio).

We have to win the league several times in a row and dominate the CL to be considered the greatest ever PL team. United simply have to make the top four to be “pulling up trees” at this point.

To me that reads like he's saying if they manage top four from here then they've "pulled up trees" to do it. But as you say, it's Merson so who knows?
