Should’ve started umBRO.
I only recently discovered that the founder of Adidas and the founder of PUMA are brothers.
Apparently, they fell out over Adidas and one of them started up PUMA.
Learn something every day!! :)
I know. They should’ve gone with Humpers.Umbro was also started by brothers. The Humphreys brothers of Wilmslow.
German brothers shouldn't even try to go into business together, better to skip that part and go straight to being rivals.

The devolution to dipperdom is complete.

I find it hilarious they are having this game. Living on past glory. In 10 years time there will be another reunion game to remember that night in Paris. No surprise BT are showing it

Do elaborate. I know they are in Trafford, but still in ENGLAND?
Howard Kendall said that. The OP said wouldn't manage another TEAM in England, the rags are many things but they are certainly not a team, well maybe a team of mercenary's.
Same as Theakstons & Black sheepThese German family businesses hey........Lidl and Aldi the same. The old ' divide and conquer ' scenario.

I posted that on here not long ago, though I’m not sure which thread it was in.
Adi (Adolf) Dassler (and maybe his brother, Rudolph, too) was a big mate of Bert.
Interestingly, I’ve just read on Wikipedia that Adi persuaded Jesse Owens to use Adidas spikes during the 1936 Berlin Olympics. I bet that went down well in certain quarters.
Dodgy as fuck, that deal. The Chevy deal was bent as fuck anyway. When the General Motors board found out about it the marketing executive who signed it off was immediately fired for exceeding his authority. Chevrolet even announced just after the deal that they were pulling out of the European market anyway.
Raggy as.Also

Let them have their memories.
