Most of the cnuts " put in the hard yards " watching Sky in the pub with a collection of similarly pathetic misfits of society.

Exactly. It hardly constitutes a badge of honour. Had some right ding-dongs with United supporting mates down the years but there was a grudging respect between us all as everyone had put a decent amount of effort into following their club rather than taking the easy option and being a full-time armchair fan

We should've done the honourable thing all those years ago and put these twats out of business when we had the chance, instead of answering their desperate cry for help in getting Manchester Central FC thrown out of the league. MUFC - forever in our debt

was up all night and thinking about next week's derby and every time i added pluses on the city side up popped something nagging in the back of my mind the REF and the officials, its there only best chances of beating us unless we have a stinker again, so what kept me up was the sending off and gary neville on skysports monday night game going on when he was talking about fernandinho and the sneaky fouls ?? he knew what he was doing putting in the ref's mind that he is a dirty player

then a flash back to fergie and united moaning about the kompany siding tackles and yes you guess it next game vs united the ref sent off kompany for just that sort of tackle, they all know what they are doing on that sky panel and the strength of this city side is fernandinho, so how do you stop city well first thing is having the ref in your pocket he controls the game and waving the cards about works, we seen it before and this derby game is so so big for them they are all ready 9 points behind us and another loss would mean top 4 is out of the question even top 6 could be a push

lets hope its just a nightmare and my mind is clouded with the old city and united being top dog and getting all the help in tight games, and a fair ref and the game flowing this city team is head and shoulders ahead of united and on paper a home win but we seen it before and we will see it again

Fernandinho doesn't put in tactical fouls that warrant red cards and once he picks a booking up he tones it back a bit, think the last time he was sent off was against Chelsea for pushing Fabregas. Let them talk them selves up for turning the corner against two teams that if you have a squad as expensive as United they should be expected to roll over not falling over the line against.

We are better than them in every department and I fully expect City to give them a good kicking, they havent faced a team like City this season and this will show up all their deficiencies as a team.

I wonder if they are all genuinely deluded and brainwashed by Mourinho into thinking they haven't spent anything in the last 5 years, or they just want to convince everyone else that they are so disdvantaged and it would be impossible to compete with us.

Who do we think is going to be inflicted in us?

Think its taylor made for Alty, local so no obvious bias....

If that isn't paranoia then I don't know what is.

I think other fans gripes with Fernandinho is how long it takes him to get a yellow card if he does at all. No foul warrants a red card of course but the sheer number of times he fouls you'd think he would get booked even just from a totting up basis. I watch it closely because most games if I build any bets involving City i throw in a Fernandinho booking because it should be a given. I notice it more with him but I think across the board a lot of defensive midfielders get a lot more leeway from early bookings because of their position and their role involving being involved in a lot more fouls/free kicks I can only presume. Players like Matic and Kante are similar.

Last year United were pretty defensively sound, if you consider we should have been 5 up at half time last year, now they are a shambles at the back we need to be ruthless. We have more than enough to punish them and on paper we should batter them. Lets not forget though when we was shit we would turn up against United when they was the best team in the league, even though they are now shite we still need to be cautious and not become arrogant twats like them.

Exactly this, who could forget us smashing them 4-1 with the likes of John Macken and Robbie Fowler with a poorly hip when they had Van Nistlerooy and Ronaldo playing for them. Martial worries me and to a lesser extent Sanchez who if they get between the lines they can pop up and do something. I think it was a little bit of a give and go that Sanchez pulled off which started the come back for them in April.

Full backs need to be switched on and not in a situation where one of the centre halves is dragged over to cover leaving people one on one, does Pep go business as usual where the system grinds United into submission or does he go the more pragmatic way he did against the dippers?
