The thing I wanted to talk about is this.
The rags, as we all know, are a devious lot.
They play Leicester on Friday night and all this, "we want Mcguire" story could merely be a smokescreen.
Could you imagine if the rags were to lose?
Their season would be over.They are running scared.
Hence the story about Mcguire.
I think that it is all a concoction to unsettle Leicester and attempt to get Mcguire to 'down tools', similar to Mahrez.
I don't think that it's working though.
Perhaps the rags will be outfoxed, wsy?

How true, they just mumble about not being interested anymore, their pain is a joy to watch, and it's now becoming a regular
pain that's getting more and more serious, the recent surgery hasn't worked and the prognosis is far from good ;)

They are so fucked.

They've got to get through the Mourinho panto season until he's sacked and then they gotta find a good manager which has so far proved beyond them and then start the rebuild !

At best it's gonna take 5/6 years before they can be truly competitive again, hopefully much longer.

Funny old world isn't it. I wonder what your reply would be if i asked if your red mates wanted to talk about footy from 92-ish to 2010-ish.

My red mates are the same, ultra defensive about even being asked about footy, happy to dish it out but now wont even talk about it without a serious attitude, even when trying to be on the level and not wind them up. It has got to the point where objectivity is largely out the window and they just lash out with the usual whining's about us ruining football; the weird delusion we warped the money due to breaking every record going (according to the general utd consensus) and all that jazz.
 
Sky keep telling us the scum are going to make a bid for Maguire a world record one at that it’s total bullshit just to appease there fans.
 
So funny watching them flap and panic bid on any defender going. One day it's Maguire then it's Boateng and then Mina. No one wants to play for them.

Why would he down tools?
Who in their right mind would want to play for that nutter?

Maguire isn't going to play on Friday regardless of if a bid comes in (plus everything has to be done by tomorrow at 5) as he only returned to training on Friday & Puel has said it's too early for him. Same with Vardy
 
Maguire i think saw Stones and learned from him in the world cup, indeed thrived of the ball playing, he was not shy of trying and took direction from Walker and Stones very well. If that kind of football appeals to him, and really fair play to Southgate for going that way then he should really think about moving to utd as that stuff will be essentially banned. No chance will Maguire be allowed to develop his playing out from the back stuff at utd, no chance.

No chance Leicester will play United in the season opener without their best two players. Maguire & Vardy will certainly want to play. United's England players will be playing/available.
If I'm wrong, Leicester are a fucking disgrace and I'd hope to see them relegated. Stones & Walker have already done 90 minutes for us.
 
Five consecutive seasons this lot have finished behind us. And if we can retain the title it will mean three of them since their last.

There's the reason they like to go on about attendance.
 
I genuinely think they don't have a mid - long term plan for how they want to play the actual game. It seems everything at u*d is focused on financial activity at board level without a strategy for the playing squad. The longer they go without winning major titles and the big money sponsorships will go elsewhere.

In the meantime enjoy them continuously imploding on the pitch and in the dressing room.

Sad to see from Barcelona. How many times have we heard Pogba needs 2 or 3 midfielders to play his natural game? He refuses to track back and Coutinho plays AM. I know he's pushed more to the left, but it makes more sense to buy a left winger and have Coutinho behind the striker.
