Nice sentiments in your post.I'm still on holiday and the rags are still scum, somethings never change....
i.e. soon I won't be on holiday but the rags will still be scum
My bad - you're referring to Sports Personality of the Year winner 2009 aren't you?
To be fair to the BBC (for a change) I think the award was handed out pre-watershed so had to utilise the word personality instead of c#ntThat’s the one, though on that occasion, the word "personality" was used in its loosest possible terms.
I think your spot on.I think the problem with United is they veer from one extreme to the other constantly. Van Gaal's possession football to Mourinho. The biggest name, most expensive manager in the world to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Alexis Sanchez to Daniel James.
They needed to get away from Pogba/Sanchez/Ibrahimovic type signings, but (and I might get proven wrong obviously) I think they've gone way too far again and bought a kid who is miles away from the level they need. This kid should be going to a decent mid-table side like Leicester where he could try and develop some end product to go with his pace and dribbling, instead he'll probably have a United tenure like Wilfried Zaha's.
@mat....you are soooh cynical Sir ; )Wonder how much Bryan Riggs has pocketed from the transfer?
Hopefully. ..he is playing championship footy with the scum in 14 months.Hopefully he fails spectacularly and is on loan to a championship club within months.
Who the fuck are Man United?

Exactly what Louis said.
Woodward is the front to make the Glazer's money.
More interested in Facetwittergram hits and shirt sales because regardless of the footie, the owners are only looking at ways to maximise profits.
If a trophy accidentally occurs...even better!
The day Woodward steps aside, is the time we hold our breath in case they get someone in who is interested in the real reason behind a Football Club.
4-5 windows would be enough for any club with the resources and money United have at hand.
Then you would think they would be up for a challenge, not win possibly, but able to challenge.
So, 2021/22 season?
The Glazers at United are the second best thing to happen to City. The longer they stay there the wider the gap with us will grow. What would worry me is a takeover by the Saudis or a big Chinese consortium which I think could eventually happen.Exactly what Louis said.

Rashford to Barcelona if they can’t get Neymar, Griezman etc
