One can only hope.Debt growing , less revenue now coming in with football behind closed doors , paying daft wages and daft wages to players who arnt even playing for them like Sanchez etc . Surely it’s a matter of time before they’re in real Financial trouble ?

Are there any utd fans left on here?
We used to have a couple but you don’t see them anymore.
Credit to every blue on here. Job well done.

It happened before 1992 so doesn’t count..Just been reading how, during the season 1914-15 (when incredibly the League carried on despite the war) United were near relegation from Div One. On Good Friday 1915 they played Liverpool. Before the game Utd and Liverpool agreed to fix the result so the rags would win 2-0. They did and Chelsea were relegated, not Utd. An investigation followed and eight players were banned. One, Knocker (Enoch) West, was banned for 30 years and the finally confessed the allegations were true.
How shameful was this? Yes, the rags do have "history". A betting scandal now would have epic repercussions. But then the war overshadowed all of this.
How many rag fans (and scousers) are aware of this stain on the two clubs?. It should be made more well known.
And don't forget it was investigated by the raggy solicitor who found nothing.Just been reading how, during the season 1914-15 (when incredibly the League carried on despite the war) United were near relegation from Div One.
