How has Fernades got in the BBC team of the years after six league games ? as for Sir Lancelot Henderson winning the player of the season before KDB the mind boggles , BBC awards are nothing more than a popularity contest for the Dippers.
Henderson has even been the best player at Candlestick park, for me that's been Mane

Hahahahaha hahahahaha the bbc include Fernandes in their team of the season, don’t know which is the bigger joke him or Henderson winning player of the season like the majority of these awards they are laughable..

I remember the commentary that night which was as usual rag bias.
Griggs foul on Pointon was a bad one but the commentator said."Hes only 19(or whatever age he was) " followed by some excuse as to his enthusiasm. I remember my Dad saying a 19 year old can break somebody's leg as easily as a 30 year old!
Then it was if Pointon had attacked the Pope when he went into Griggs!!!!
Nice comparison - both very unsavoury characters........

It's only right that he gets some form of recognition after locating the vaccine for Covid.

And I mean, it's been a while since he put an end to the Vietnam war but his efforts there shouldn't be overlooked either..........

Pointless award ie BBC but like so many, they have to shoe horn a Utd player in to keep their readers happy. Remember when Pogba got in the team of the season and even Utd fans were wondering how

New colleague at work ix a rag. Limited discussion about football despite my gentle encouragement, beyond emptihad comments.

For some reason - who let the dogs out - became my notifications alert.
He didn't like this according to other colleagues . All usual options will be rotated. Currently - this city is ours, it should have been 10, is going down well.

Any suggestions for something different or alternative

It's not all doom and gloom though, they've fixed the leaking roof..!

Are there any utd fans left on here?
We used to have a couple but you don’t see them anymore.

Credit to every blue on here. Job well done.

What can they come on here to brag about? If they were in the ascendancy in the league they would be. They know they are shit and their club is slowly crumbling and their two biggest rivals are leading the way in how to play football. Depressing times for the raggies.

Just been reading how, during the season 1914-15 (when incredibly the League carried on despite the war) United were near relegation from Div One. On Good Friday 1915 they played Liverpool. Before the game Utd and Liverpool agreed to fix the result so the rags would win 2-0. They did and Chelsea were relegated, not Utd. An investigation followed and eight players were banned. One, Knocker (Enoch) West, was banned for 30 years and the finally confessed the allegations were true.
How shameful was this? Yes, the rags do have "history". A betting scandal now would have epic repercussions. But then the war overshadowed all of this.
How many rag fans (and scousers) are aware of this stain on the two clubs?. It should be made more well known.

It happened before 1992 so doesn’t count..
Same two clubs loved by the media over a century later

And don't forget it was investigated by the raggy solicitor who found nothing.
