GPC made up this crap about no value in the market because then he didn't have the budget to chase after top (and therefore very expensive) players. That's the most laughable thing about it as Litmanen was an excellent player but no-one barring his mother would pick him as 'the' best player they had seen.

Straight off the bat I can think of 50 players who have outperformed him in the Premier League during the twilight of his career (which is where she will have witnessed the lion share if not all of his performances).
