£150m for Pogba!! If he is worth that much why are they selling him and not building a team around him? Answers on a post card, sorry, postage stamp. If you want to be long winded you can use both sides.

“N” on one side “O” on the other...and a “LOL!” If you have one of those big Christmas stamps!

If he’s worth that then surely you and me must be around the £40 million mark ffs and I’ve never played professional football and our fee is conservative ffs..

James could be a decent signing for them - he caused us a few problems at Swansea last season - and I can understand why they might move away from their policy of signing established “stars”. It’s hardly been a roaring success for them of late. They’ve tried everything else, so they might as well have a go at signing young unproven players. But then you read that they’re still offering contract extensions to the likes of Young, Jones, Smalling and now Mata, and it makes you wonder what on earth their strategy for next season actually is.

If they lost De Gea and Pogba then their top six place could be under genuine threat from the likes of Wolves and Everton.
They're offering those idiots contracts but they couldn't hold onto Herrera, who's probably their most consistent player.

According to the Daily Mail they are looking to buy:
Maguire
Wan-Bissaka
Dier
Felix
James(the welsh one not the Columbian one)

Even if we accept(a bit of a stretch) that all those players are top4/top1 quality, who in their team is actually going to score the goals?

Martial is still waiting for a manager to ‘get the best out of him’, maybe 3rd time lucky, who knows. Rashford will be lucky to get double figures and Lukaku looks like he’s off

I think that's Felix the cat, to replace De Gea.

Thought I'd share a little personal thing with you to help get this thread back on track. Twelve months ago, this week, I had a cardiac arrest and heart attack, rather appropriately, 'out of the blue'. Six months later and I am at my mechanic in Stretford ( I know, I know..) and he says to me ' I heard about what happened to you... what was it like...did you see the light?' Me - 'no no mate, there's no light', so he pushes it a bit further -'but what was it like?' So I thought for a few seconds and said ' It's a bit like watching United - but more exciting'. Proving that in life or death, they will always be sc.........

ever get the feeling your not going to be paid
No chance. Ive stopped having these sorts of bets with reds. Notoriously bad payers.
Had one owe me £20 for months!
Said he cant afford it and feeding his family comes first!
It was when i caught him coming out of a farm shop with £30s worth of steak that i ‘insisted’ on payment.
Sc*m
