Re dennishasdoneit's query about the attendance of Utd v City in Feb 1931, Gary James (in his "Manchester City - The Complete Record") also gives the crowd as 39,876, agreeing with me.
Ray Goble's book (up to 1987) was updated and much improved by Garys later version, so I think we can safely conclude that Goble's figure of 50,000 was indeed an estimate.
Perhaps the crowds of 3,000 were an overestimation too!

Most of this is a load of horseshite (80m would be about 10x any other stadium sponsorship in football) but it sounds like Neville is worried about who the next generation is going to support.

A tenner a pop to get kids converted to Raggism is desperation measures on speed.
They'll go, once or twice, but after watching the likes of Pogba ambling about, and then seeing on their
phones that City have just blown away their latest opponents with mesmerising football, and they've just watched
Man U get shafted by Palace for the umpteenth time, will have them mithering their dads to let them go to the Etihad.

Seriously, on what planet was appointing Ole as manager a good idea?

Fucking madness

Appeasing the morons. There's no other feasible explanation.

When I read that he wouldn't park in the manager's designated slot out of 'respect' to the despotic pisscan I knew he was on borrowed time. What a spineless, insipid çunt.
