I can't believe they're stupid enough to put the majority of the blame on the Paper Boy for this. Apparently he's not 'coaching' them well enough and they should be showing more signs of improving. Seriously, how well do you expect someone to polish a massive, stinking turd?. No one could do a job with the side they've currently got - no one.

They've got no depth at fullback, Fatman Shaw is only average and always injured and One Pisstaker is only good in defence.

At least another good centre half is needed - a top side doesn't have Victor Lindelof in their best lineup.

In centre mid, at least two quality centre mids are needed to replace who Fred is atrocious and Matic is well past it. Carlton is injured or is faking injury and clearly wants out. McTominay is the only one worth persisting with and even then he's a bit young and brainless with all round improvement needed

Their AM's are beyond crap and without doubt the position they are at their weakest. Not one of them is even worth feeding or mentioning. They need at least two new players there.

They've only got that James kid as a true winger and who despite his pathetic diving, looks like he's going to be quality. They need another guy on the left though.

Up forward Rashford is brainless, Danny Welbeck MkII, and Whatshisname is still a lazy a git. Lumpkaku wasn't replaced and they don't have a 20 goals a season striker anywhere.

That's at least eight new players needed by my calculation and AT LEAST a 300-400 million pound job.

Overheard a couple of Rags in conversation in Morrison’s in Cheadle the day after their result against Norwich. Talk about deluded. It was all, “Great win”, “We’re getting there”, “We’ll go on a great run now”, “Can still make top four” and similar simple-minded shite. I smiled and moved on. I could imagine on Wednesday the further heights of giddiness these two would have reached following the Carabao win at Chelsea. I wonder how their conversation is going today?

On the discussion of top 4 can you see them out doing Chelsea or Leicester till May? Arsenal may end up with a change of manager and that could bring them into contention.

Would take a super human effort to get it, where’s dabbing Paul these days? Even he knows the rags are shit and fakes injury cos he can’t be arsed turning out for that shower of shite.

I cant believe anyone looks at their squad and thinks, "that's not solksjaer's fault, he just doesnt have the players to beat Bournemouth!".

Its 90% Solksjaer. They dont have the team to compete for the title, but the manager is the reason they're going to finish in the bottom half.

Rubbish. You replace him with basically any manager with the same squad and they'd be able to do little with it. He has Jesse fucking Lingard, some rubbish Brazilian that came through their academy, and 45 year old Juan Mata as their attacking midfield options. No manager worth anything could do a job with that kind of 'talent'. As for beating Bournemouth, they were in the top half before this round so not exactly complete mugs.

I'm not saying he's a good manager - he probably isn't at the higher level he's at now. But replacing him with someone else without first addressing the number of deep issue they have in their squad, as a part of a wider structural issue at their club, will do nothing.

Great idea! Let's imagine what Mourinho would do with the same squad.

Oh wait, we already saw him do it and they were guaranteed top 4 and won a couple of trophies.

Solksjaer is shit. He was shit and Cardiff and hes shit now. They should be competing with Tottenham, Chelsea and Leicester for 3rd place.
 
OGS is not the sole reason for Utd's malaise but he is part of the problem. He is partly responsible for their poor squad as he moved Lukaku out without a replacement.
