They're still Mourinho's team. Just with the defence they never gave Mourinho. Note the way they press around the halfway line. Fast transition attacks all the time too.

I thought VAR would not give a penalty if a player fell/ jumped/ dived before contact.

IMO a City player would not get a penalty for that but might get a yellow and some nice media coverage for about a week.

Nope I thought they looked really paced first half, Wolves were better team second half.

They do look much better with the youthful team and no Lukaku

Fair enough about the pace aspect but their football was poor. They had two shots on target in the whole game and Wolves were woeful except for about 20 mins in the second half. In the first half Wolves could not pass the ball and looked a shadow of last season's team.

Maybe l am comparing their football and thinking about the way City play and the incredibly high standard of football we are privileged to watch every week.
