More from Greater Manchester Police's statement:

"Those in the stadium were evicted by officers but outside on the forecourt hostility grew with bottles and barriers being thrown at officers and horses. Two officers have been injured with one officer being attacked with a bottle and sustaining a significant slash wound to his face requiring emergency hospital treatment.

Must. Be. Applauded

By doing shit like this it makes a league like the Super League more and more appealing to owners because if they lose fans they just won't care. Actions like this will push owners to distance from fans and not act in their best interests as they will see them as a 'hassle'. By doing this little 'plastic revolutionist' act they are actually losing the club bit by bit and pushing owners more to see fans as a uneccesary risk that is better to eradicate. They could switch to playing all games on-line and it wouldn't make much difference financially. The Glazers won't sell, but they will see how important 'fans' are moving forward. Football is nothing without fans, but it is without yobs and nuisances.

If the rags go unpunished which is highly likely, The Premier League will be setting a very dangerous precedent here.
So say next season as an example, City v Liverpool in May for a title decider, We have KDB, Bernardo, Dias, Foden all out injured but one week away from being back, Sure we may as well just riot and get the game rearranged until the lads are back the following week...

The postponement, driven by the incompetence of United’s security and the fans‘ understandable invasion has actually made our task on Tuesday more difficult. We should be lobbying the Premier League and Uefa for an immediate penalty for United club and fans, fines, bans and points deductions, if Liverpool had won or lost today, out mindset would have been different On Tuesday.
doesnt matter how many threads you put that in it doesnt have anything to do with tues
