By which they mean the 11 highest profile transfers, regardless of the impact they'll have on the team. I'm amazed Bale isn't in there tbh.

So far for me, the ones that stand out are Ross Barkley for Villa and Hojbjerg for Spurs. Hojbjerg in particular looks a bargain at £15m. Also Ollie Watkins, but that's based on one game.

Surely, the same applies to Barkley? One bloke I've never understood the hype over. Yes; he did okay on sunday evening. But if he'd brought his shooting boots, Villa could easily have reached double figures.
 
During the carnage on Sunday afternoon one issue that was overlooked was the ref’s decision to give them a penalty after 28 seconds.

It seems as though having perfected the art of winning penalties after the game has ended they are now working hard on winning penalties before it even begins.

Well I've seen Barkley play for years, so I know what he's about. Perfect for a team like Villa.
 
The signings by the rags in this tranfer window demonstrate what a fucking shambles the whole club really is.

Dozens of potential signings regularly mentioned by their media lackies , a total shambles of a defence due to poor , over-priced and over-hyped signings. A midfield weakened by a pretender of a player like Pogba , and a front three who are quick and look capable of scoring goals ( even without VAR's penalty contributions ).

So they on the last day of the window pay a fucking fortune to sign a 33 year old striker, who has been available for roughly 6 months with no interest from other clubs.

Sancho was the hyped signing for their attacking force, so when told to pay up or fuck off , they moved for Edinson Cavani !!

Who the fuck attempts to run a club with such abject and illogical thinking , and expects such an aproach to be successful ?

But then again they also thought it was a master stroke to appoint a manager with fuck all credentials for managing a club of their size, becaause he was an ex-player who " got the club and their fans " .

Long may they continue with to their cunning plan !
 
I'm not sure if it's been discussed but i read on twitter ( yeah, i know ), that the reason Fernandes was subbed at half time was because he told Magurie that he wasn't fit to wear the united shirt. Unsure if true but he's their best player by a mile, didn't look injured so can't see why they'd sub him. If you're making a tactical sub, bring off Greenwood or Pogba who don't offer as much. Or does that just show the ineptitude of OGS?
