Just gone for second vaccination this morning and a Rag was in front of me with his United mask on

Couldn't help myself and said to him first time you will be in front of us

He bit and I asked him if he had got up early to travel for the vaccination and are Ireland not doing it yet.

I then asked him that I thought he was being prosecuted not vaccinated.

The marshalls weren't happy but the look on the Rag (what you could see of it) was a fucking picture to behold.

I don't understand why they hate the Glazers so much. OK, the Glazers are taking money out of the club, but so would any investor. The Rags were not bought at a bargain price (unlike City) so there's less chance of making money on the capital side - having said that, the Glazers' ownership has increased the capital value of the Rags quite significantly.

The Glazers have made significant funds available for transfers and wages. It's not their fault - at least not directly - if their employees have made bad value purchases and agreed to silly contracts like the stupid money given to de Gea, a declining asset at best. With better judgement/management they would be in a better place. Unfortunately, their fans seem to demand big names and big money signings, even when better value could be achieved. Often they seem to have made a signing just to prove they can outbid City, without considering value for money at all.

The only 'better' owner than the Glazers would be one with stupid amounts of money who did not want an immediate cash return. That means someone very like HH Sheikh Mansour, and they would hate that. Wouldn't they? Billionaires with the morals of Gandhi and no interest in getting money back are few and far between.
Great post @BrianW

Have the events of Sunday been forgotten already? Carpet must be huge. As for protesting again the media should have a news blackout and not give the scruffy tramps the oxygen they require.

Posted Sunday on Redcafe....

This protest was absolutely brilliant strategy.

1. This is the closest game in England to El Classico, so most likely to be covered by global media.
2. They actually lulled people into complacency during last week’s protest outside Old Trafford that was peaceful and relatively sparsely attended
3. They protested at the hotel where the players sleep before home games as well as at the ground.
4. Once inside the ground they were just fans - a little vandalism, filmed as happy to be there, stealing a corner flag and balls.
5. They did enough to get the game canceled.
6. Now, the rescheduled game will have a huge spotlight on it . The Glazers will have to do something substantial before it like make a commitment to ownership change, spending etc or that game too might be in jeopardy.
7. The glee, vandalism and little bit of rioting made our primarily adrenaline-fueled global fan base identify with the rioters.
8. It is done on a game that doesn’t matter for us having basically secured CL and 2nd place but one that Liverpool, our main rivals, desperately needs to win and thus messes with their heads.
9. It is very close to the end of season and summer’s transfer window so the ownership will have to spend during it or fear even worse stuff.
10. And it shows up Liverpool’s own protest as being relatively half-baked.

My salute to you all, I have never been more proud to be a Red!
