rashford at city under pep would be a special player ? much like sterling city & pep worked hard on him and give him the confidence and the time. its only this season sterling has dropped a level or he is not happy at being left out of the champions league team

i used to say the only player pep would want from united was rashford ? but after last night i think the hype and all the of the pitch stuff has done for him and it will be hard to get it back
TBH.....I still think Rashford is a poor version of Wellbeck.....never seen anything that even puts him level.

Quite sad that this is where we are at right now but when I saw him and one of the other ones (Fred?) stepping up to take a penalty I genuinely had the thought that I wouldn't like to be in charge of their social media accounts if they missed.
It's now at the point that when Everton lost to you the other day, one of my first thoughts was 'our black players are going to get dogs' abuse for this'.

Then again, as I said, a lot of the abuse Rashford is getting seems to be from Arabs and Everton aren't that popular in the Middle East, so who knows (not that racist fans don't exist here, sadly). They don't seem to like black people very much there. Although I also saw a black African fan comparing Rashford to the pilot of a plane and telling him he deserved racist abuse because he destroyed souls. Rags are weird.

ETA: Ferguson needs to LET GO. I wonder how he and PEG got on.

We owe sky and the rest of the lickspittles and leeches across the broader media a huge debt of gratitude for maintaining this facade, this illusion that the rags were, are and always will be a global sporting powerhouse.

There are none so blind as those that cannot see.
Pep actually thanked the media upon winning the title this year and if you think it was for the even handed reporting, tactical awareness and insightful questions I think you’d be wrong.

I took it as he see’s the way the media pander in this country to a select band of history clubs (even if they are not very good) and that ultimately puts pressure on them with their sycophantic nature.

This allows him to quietly work with his team away from the limelight and create a kind of siege mentality in that he knows we are far superior to the media supported hype jobs.

He gets the way it works in this country and 10 domestic trophies out of the last 15 tells me he uses the way the media are to his advantage.

I’ve said it before; the rent boy is a fucking coward in big games.

He is more afraid of losing than taking a chance and going for the opponents' jugular.

It was the same yesterday. He was happier to take the game to penalties than to risk conceding with a more attacking lineup.

And considering he was a striker, it must be alarming for the hordes how badly coached his forwards are. Rashford and Greenwood have not progressed at all. In fact, they seem to have regressed. When you compare them to Raheem and Phil over similar timespans, it’s clear which pair have received the better tutoring.

Not that I’m complaining, of course. I’d be delighted if the Norwegian Stuart Pearce stays at the swamp for another decade.
I couldn't believe how long it took for him to bring on Mata. Like, right until the end of the fucking game?!

Very Overrated player rashy.

Rod and Emu

Oh that reminds me - years ago I heard such a funny joke to do with him and his demise - to do with trying to adjust his TV aerial to see a big footy match. Can anyone recall it and remind me - the phrase Hull going down was part of it and I'm sorry, but I I think it was a Utd match!

I know that he has only had three managerial jobs, but this one is the first time that he has not been with a media darling of country he is/was working in.

Being a Catalan I really think he might prefer it this way. 10 out of the last 15 domestic trophies in a much more competitive league than the other two must make him proud.

It does it for me.
