Would seem to. Torres this morning was listed as £37m. Despite reports from Spain and England at time time that is was almost half that. So we've paid more for Torres than they have for Beaky at a glance.

I doubt we'll pay more than they're paying even if Torres scored fifty goals by December, wins the league, champions league and Ballon D'Or with us every year he's here.

Bizzare the lengths they will go to in order to protect the 'aristocracy' and their fans. Even saw an article before questioning whether Messi was past it. Funny how that wasn't a valid question until he wanted to leave and was linked with us. At least it would be funny if Messi did come watching them justify giving their journo player of the year award to Sir Marcus of Rashford for his 9 goals in all competitions, taken with much more flair and aplomb than past it Lionel's 46.

United buying another central midfielder at that price is like us going out and buying another £50 million right back. The guy looks decent in fairness but there’s so many other urgently needed areas to improve on in that team/squad.

Also, I’ve just seen a picture of him in a United shirt, anybody else seeing nothing but a Young Ian Dowie?

On the face of it the Rags have a decent side. Blue tinted specs aside, Fernandez, St Marcus, Martial and Greenwood (who I do like the look of) are fast mobile and clever.

They are and will be gifted penalties and refs won't see their petulance or play acting. Plus ca change!

In midfield Pogba who apparently won the World Cup single handed with newbie Beaker and ... Scott McBad. Their defence looks lacklustre and the worlds best keeper has been channeling his inner slippery Jim for a few years now. Henderson will put him under pressure perhaps. Their captain seems to have shown an appalling lack of judgement and has an impending court case hanging over him. I think that will affect him and hopefully make them weaker.

Tactically we can take the mick out of little Ole but with a less refined version of Littlepool's kick n rush they beat us 3 times. Hopefully our defence will be strengthened and we'll go back to the high press.

The Glazers have cashflow problems and matchday income has collapsed so they are in a spot of bother. We shouldn't take their threat on the pitch or their shenanigans off it lightly. Hopefully 6 points and some cup drubbings would do me

Over the hill keeper
Dodgy defence
Good midfield(going forward)
Forward line with a lot of potential(lack depth)
Shite manager

Top 4 and out of the champions league at last 16.

Just sold their best keeper, Romero to Villa for 8 million. 39 clean sheets in 61 games he had for them

Henderson must be pissing himself laughing. £150,000 a week to keep his arse warm and collect Engerland caps.
