Bittersweet that Sanchez stuff.

On one hand it's good to see him slag off United and say essentially that he regrets moving there instead of City.

On the other hand it's frustrating because we knew at the time that within a month he'd be wishing he'd not been such a prick and turned us down. It was so obvious.

Is this Dutch lad any good?
I mean in reality not the how the media will make him out to be a world beater when he takes a throw in

Honestly? Outside of Ajax's Champions League run the majority of United fans wouldn't have heard of him. Now, more than a year since the last time they likely saw him play, they're acting like they're getting the next Gullit. Reminds me of Fred...

Events. Suspicious patterns of betting on the game between Liverpool and Manchester United led to allegations of match fixing and the 1915 British football betting scandal. Eventually seven players (three from United, four from Liverpool) were banned from football.
First Division: Everton (2)
Southern League: Watford
FA Cup: Sheffield United (3)
Second Division: Derby County

SO THATS WHAT THEY MEAN ABOUT HISTORY !!

It was nothing to do with betting. It was the last game of the season and the rags needed a win to be sure of avoiding relegation. The rags bribed Liverpool players to throw the match and they duly won 2-0. There were even reports that a Liverpool player hit the bar with a shot and his team mates berated him angrily.

This was the last season before the break during the First World War. By rights the rags should have been relegated for this when the League restarted after the war but among all the other shenanigans, with Arsenal conning their way to a promotion place and Leeds City being dissolved due to financial irregularities and Leeds United being immediately founded to take their place, it was conveniently overlooked.

It's the United way.

I see Alexis Sanchez has been slagging off his former employers saying it was a mistake to go to United and wanted to terminate his contract after one training session. That’s what happens when you pick the money Alexis, he could have been a decent addition for us.
Yep less than zero sympathy for the ****.

Tbf, he didn't turn us down. The three wise men said "Sorry, Pep, too expensive". Alex and his agent could have asked for less and come here.

Supposedly we had a deal before he upped his wage demands last minute. I imagine he regrets that massively now.
