Have they reached double figures for the number of penalties awarded to them yet?

They have cunningly come up with a plan to cover that up. On MOTD on Saturday they had a graph showing which player has won the most penalties in premier league history. Guess who? Sterling on 20. See how it switches?

Yes that banner turned what was obviously a strong dislike into pure hatred for that club. It went beyond banter and the fact the club allowed it to stay there just fuelled the hatred even more. Don't forget we were light years behind them at the time and there was a good possibility it could have kept clocking up forever. Oh and didn't the media just love to remind us.

I'm a bit confused how the rag shitehouses that made that banner were never paid a visit and told to get rid.

A copy should be made and shown to new players as a brief history and put in the dressing room.before every derby.

If their drought continues a good compromise would be a banner saying, " We were going to start a countdown clock, but we have more class." Or similar.
Like times 10,000!!!!!!

Always said the best banner of the lot would be a picture from the stadium of light with the hag in the red jumper and the guy on the radio with a simple

I've always thought a great banner would be a print of the guy on the radio and the hag in the red jumper with the simple caption " THEY'VE JUST HEARD THE NEWS AT THE STADIUM OF LIGHT"

Fucking a, bubba. Spot on. Anyone who doesn’t think that banner was absolutely THE crystallizing symbol of all City hate about them — and why — should be reminded of the clock tick reversal graphic on the Etihad big screen after Aguerooooooo. THAT’S how much it mattered. There is no fate too humiliating and painful for that club, nothing that can ever make me sympathize with the organization nor its fans.

SCUM.

And Ferguson getting all shirty and precious when we put up the “Welcome to Manchester” banner of Tevez. The idiot just couldn’t see the irony could he.

They need to separate them by which club he was playing for at the time
