Just watched MOTD2. Was expecting Penandez’s goal to be a worldie after hearing it on BBC 5 - he shinned it and it was awful defending - BBC are so bloody biased it’s unreal

Yea I had heard all about this worldie and like you was expecting something special. Than I saw it and thought that cant be it, it came of his shin. But than I remembered another worldie that Rooney scored with his shin.

I always think a worldie should be scored by a good technique, not got lucky with it coming of a shin and could have flown anywhere.

The ball coming of a shin you are not in control of where the ball will go. It's just hit your leg.

All bias aside, a genuinely bad footballer. Who cost £80m!!! What was he doing when that guy nipped in near the end and almost scored. Seems to have zero awareness, no speed...
