Was this the non-penalty call in the 14th minute? And apparently not getting a soft penalty is the reason they failed to score in the next 80 minutes of play.

So that's played 7 won 0 drawn 5 lost 2 scored 1 conceded 7

And that 1 scored was unsurprisingly a penalty. Yet we're supposed to believe that Fernandes is a world class player. Can't do it against the big teams.

Or is this just a feeling? Every year there seems to be stories about how City could potentially win the lot, I never remember them talking up anybody else's chances, not for us, Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal. It seems like there's a real desire to see it happen.

Excuses and more excuses, that’s all we seem to hear from the rags and their dethroned champions buddies down the lancs. You don’t hear Pep crying about the Chelsea website, how windy it is or how long the grass is. City started 2021 with a squad decimated with covid, they destroyed Chelsea and knocked the rags out of the league cup. They didn’t even get a proper pre season, if they had the gap would have been even bigger.
