Surely just angling for more money
I was listening to Tim Vickery during the week. He hasn't settled in the UK. He's looking to go to Boca Juniors, as its only a 4 hour drive from where the family live apparently. Big pay cut.

I am glad you mentioned the Fairground, nobody believes me it was a popular day out.Pickmere lake, I used to go there a lot as a kid, fairground, club, it was great.
A lot of homes in South America don't have walls to put posters on.His boyhood club is the Rags, like all their signings. He had posters of them on his bedroom wall as a kid.

And who can blame any player being miserable at the swamp?Any footballer has leverage by virtue of the fact they can just play without being arsed until the club comes to understand that upset players doesn’t earn their massive wages.
One obviously miserable player in the dressing room can upset a whole squad too.
Well some of them are well chuffed because they’re paid ridiculous salaries that nobody else would give them. And who can blame any player being miserable at the swamp?
Mrs Vienna remembers going there with her mum, dad and brother and can attest to the existence of the fairground and cafë.I am glad you mentioned the Fairground, nobody believes me it was a popular day out.
There was also a bank on the River Bollin near the end of the runway where people used to go for a paddle and a day out. There was even some sort of cafe.
I am looking forward to normality with a walk round the lake and replenishing lost fluids in the Cock o'Budworth.

It was one of their days out.
I remember the swimming area just next to a wier on the Bollin. Unfortunately a friend of mine drowned there when a group of us were there for a day during the hols around 1956/7. Just further up was a big White House with a swimming pool open in summer for a small fee. The owner of the house came up and pulled his poor body out It was a very sad day and hard to take in as we were only about 9/10 years old.I am glad you mentioned the Fairground, nobody believes me it was a popular day out.
