It isn't coincidence, they are getting told to go down at every tackle and the refs fall for it everytime, and low and behold who are the top 2 now?

Fernandez is Portuguese; it seems to be part of the culture.
Cavani played in Italy for years; ditto.
McTominay is a rag; ditto.

As for Fred. He’s a City reject.

They do have one thing in common; they were all boyhood rags. Maybe that explains it.

Ha, that's probably wishful thinking given the amount of conspiracy theories we get! Seemed fairly obvious that he would receive a ban though. As with Bernardo, it just takes them ages to dish out the punishment.
 
This will be spun into "City have influenced the FA to ban him for the Derby, after they helped us have a nice Covid rest"

It's a bad decision, but it is correct. The stupid FA has gone and changed its rules to stipulate that anyone guilty of racism is automatically to face a three game ban. They now have no option but to follow their own rule, no matter what the individual circumstances are. They have given themselves no leeway, no wiggle room.

Cavani did not mean to be racist, I have no doubt about that. (Neither did Bernardo). And I feel sorry for him on a personal level, because he now has this label hanging over him, and it will always be there.

It is football's governing body, The FA, that always legislates in haste.

Incidentally, I also think United themselves are more culpable than Cavani here. They knew the new rules. They knew what happened to Bernardo and Alli, and they should be warning all incoming players of the pitfalls when engaging in social media. It is common practice in most companies to have induction courses for new employees. Diving and screaming is obviously on the agenda for United. They need to add racial awareness too.
