Well I guess with this situation it is interaction for some people, we can't go to the pub or the games, so having the game on the tv and an interactive channel alongside it is probably nice for people who don't see or speak to many people. Also it's free, so in essence it's also a substitution for the radio.
I can appreciate the notion of having the watch-along as a commentary on what you watch on TV, except that the YouTube lag means you‘d actually see the action some time before the pantomime dame online gets to squeal hysterically about it.

So kneeling before games has no impact on racism. I'm definitely not surprised.
Slightly off topic but I noticed in the England/Scotland rugger game yesterday that a few English lads and what looked like the majority of the Scots didn't take a knee.

Obviously it's individual choice but imagine the outcry if a couple of footballers didn't.

Yeah the Prem decider a couple of weeks ago is a distant memory until they pump it up again next season.
Always makes me laugh when you hear clueless twats like Delooney and Murphy pedalling this line before crawling back under the woodwork when it turns out that once again they're talking bollocks.

Let me get this right. 976000 subscribers to watch some prat talking about the match instead of actually seeing the match???? Wtf has come of this world?? “I support team X and unfortunately for whatever reason I can’t go to the game live not to worry I will watch it on TV. Wait a minute... instead of watching it I can sit through 3 hours of insane drivel from someone instead who watches it for me. Yep sign me up!!” Fxxks sake. There are a lot of dicks in the world

Yes - totally bizarre. Some phenomenon called Gobblebox or something.

Anybody saying de Gea has always been a poor keeper is dreaming deluded or a bad case of bluetintavitus.
I will always be a Joe Hart fan. Hated how he left. But would never rate him higher than de Gea overall.

Now the thing is, both keepers had weaknesses. And in his first season for the rags, de Gea's were frequently exposed.
He bulked up a bit and improved in his second season. To me, that nudged him ahead of Joe.

What a lot of people who are slagging him off are forgetting, is how he almost single handedly kept them in a top four place season after season.
For this reason alone is why he was offered such a huge contract. They knew if he left, top four would have been a pipe dream. That would have affected their "two seasons without champions league" 25% revenue drop.

The only thing they didn't think about, is that once a players head has been turned, it's very hard to get the commitment they once had.
No amount of money will motivate him if he wants to be somewhere else. He clearly wants to be somewhere else.
Trouble is, he wage is now chaining him to the rags.

I for one can only piss out loud laughing at this situation.
Like the laughable Sanchez saga, the gazumping of Pogba and Maguire. They have brought this on themselves where desperate decisions have come back to bite them on the arse.

Even the fact that they are patting themselves on the back with signing Cavani, is another good thing for us. As it shows they are still only managing to survive hand to mouth. There still isn't any forward planning. Cavani might be doing it for them right now. But he is actually damaging them going forwards!

Is he really, didn't sound Manc'

What possesses someone to follow a Club 100 odd miles from home when there are 2 perfectly good clubs in your own city.

Bet he loves Robin Hood though,

It's "the united way" mate. Sad, vacuous, boring no-marks with extreme lack of life syndrome existing in a vacuum of failure, delusion and self-loathing, all of which they compensate for by attaching themselves to what they perceive to be a "successful brand" in the hope of some sense of reflected glory. Sadly the country is littered with them, and the reality of their oxygen-thieving existence is masked by the illusion of relevance peddled by the sycophantic lickspittles at Sky and the rest of the commercial leeches in the media.

Handball on Calvert Lewin ?
Handball on Calvert Lewin ?
Handball on Calvert Lewin ?
Anything ?
VAR ?
Handball on Calvert Lewin ?
Anything ?

Ohh.. the desperation to rule out a legitimate goal.
I watched it. It was never a handball. DCL said himself, it hit his chest.

De Gea has been poor for getting on for 4 / 5 years... i think you are right in the fact he had them over a barrel and they had no choice to offer him the contract they did (deserved at the time) after the fiasco with the Madrid transfer. And from say 2013 to 16/17 he no doubt kept them from being mid table. However since then he has been average at best!
