Hope not. Adrian Heath had more 'better' games when with us(OK pushing it a bit but you know what I mean).

Stay strong Mr Glazer. It would take some polishing but there's a footy player in there somewhere. And let's face it, you must have loads of it as you don't use it on that shithole of yours xx

Pogba getting off on a free next year could leave them with a conundrum if Cavani goes as well. If Grealish is worth £100 million as a playmaker, they will have to out lay something similar and then silly amounts for a forward, they always seem to be short of putting together a decent team. Spend it on those shopping malls and save the disappointment Joel and Avram.

It doesn't matter who United sign - could be Messi, Mane, VVD, Dias, KdB and Haaland. They all have to listen to the PE teacher going on about 1999 when some of their players weren't even born. They have to listen to him going on about working hard, counter attacking and playing "the United way", which since he took over means winning the same as Arsenal, Southampton, Newcastle etc despite blasting the cash about.

Honestly, I want them to finish in the top 4 every season. They are no danger to us at all, but if they slip down the table then they will sack the amateur and bring in someone decent. If that happens they will become a decent team, but please keep the PE player going!

Just a reminder.

Net Debt as of 31 March 2021 was £443.5 million, compared with £429.1 million as of 31 March 2020.

Their debt was around 500 Million in the past 10 years, and remained the same.

But that didn't affect their spending in terms of transfer fees or salaries at all.

I think they’ll offer Pogba a huge contract that he can’t turn down, and he’ll end up staying.

That’s what posters have been saying ever since the pisscan retired.

I thought they had a serviceable debt, how does that work when it keeps getting bigger.

Exactly.

The debt has remained around that figure after 10 years. Making a real and concerted effort to clear that debt would have an effect on United’s transfer spending. But the Glazers prefer to manage the increasing debt, take their money out of the club, and still make signings to appease the green and gold plastics. United will always have enough money to buy players.

Don’t forget, United last won the PL title in 2012-13. :-)

I would not be surprised if this happened, but it is what happened a few years ago IIRC and when you see Pogba playing for 5 levels higher for France then he does for PSG you have to wonder why a player would stay at a club where he's so clearly underperforming.

On top of that, you get to play with Messi for at least a year, Neymar, in your home town, will be paid massive money and under a better manager too. He's 28 now, and is at risk of people remembering his best club football at Juventus.
