He is a moody shithouse, or at least was then. Doesn't stop him being a damn good player to. He would throw a wobbler if an attacking move didn't involve him. If he accepts this is not 2015 Madrid where the basic aim was to feed him every time they got the ball i have no issue with it. People change as they grow older.
As i say he is older and if reports are true he has talked to Pep about his role and accepts how he will be expected to play (part of the team, not some sole focal point for every attacking move) i am cool with that. There is no romanticism in it for me. This would be a mutally beneficial business arangement that benefits both parties. He wants the big time, we need a shit hot striker.
In the 6 years he has become more (than he already was) synonymous as a Madrid legend than an ex utd player to me. Add to that he went to Juve and did not give utd a second glance when he left Madrid it certainly made a statement about how he felt about utd, to me at least. He comes across as a businessman with little time for the romance side of the game to me these days. If he gets the goals, i am cool with that.
